It's a Fender Koa Nohea.
It's tenor sized:

Nice looking uke! Congrats.

very cool. enjoy the honeymoon, I recently bought a new [for me] vintage baritone, but it hasn't arrived yet.

Aloha yku, very nice. Congrats & enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

Looks beautiful. :) I didn't know Fender made ukes. How does it sound?

Joe

Thanks guys:

@Joe- I will see if I can find a video with a sound test.

I've heard derogatory remarks about Fender 'ukuleles, but it must be a lot of hooey. That's a handsome and fine-sounding 'ukulele! I love the Fender headstock. Enjoy!

Congratulations! Just got one as well. It's actually the second one that I bought, but the first one was for my son's birthday He's loving his.

First thing I did was take off the stock GHS strings (Fender is supposed to be shipping new ones w/Aquila's now) & I put on a set of Ko'Olau Gold - High G. I'm loving the sound & will likely put a K&K Hot Spot pickup in this one. I have to admit that it is a looker, but its not as punchy as either My Mainland Cedar tenor or the 2 I recently sold (Mainland Mahogany tenor & Kala Concert w/solid cedar top.

Thats the reason that I'm going to amplify this one - it looks the part & probably will sound good amplified.
