Now it seems I am a lucky guy though now a bit confused.
having read on here about low g tuning and hearing that IZ played with this arrangement, I thought I would give it a try. No use converting my existing uke, my lovely and understanding wife has bought me another uke.:drool:I only wanted a cheapie in case I didnt like it. I found a nice ,reasonably priced Soprano .Its a Stag. Not one Ive heard of but it has a couple of very good reviews. anyway, I digress. Now my difficulty is. Do I lower the G on the tenor, and more expensive uke or on the Cheapie soprano.
also how do I go about this, I am aware that I will need a different string but the shops round here are not too well up on such detail, so what strings would I require?
any help and advice would be appreciated.

You may like the sound of the tenor in low g, better than the soprano.
In my experiance the longer scale and bigger body allowed the low g to come through.

Ive just had a search on FAQ and seems that I should have done that first,, My apologies, plenty of comments and advice on there. thanks anyway
