This is the only copy of the song that I can find online.

If you can positively identify the name of the song and it's creator, I would be very much appreciative.

Thanks for taking a look!

It's 12th Street Rag by Euday Bowman in 1914. He's my rather poor in comparison effort of it!!

hey, nice job Phil. Thanks for sharing mate, that was great. :)

Aloha IauRuth,
Welcome to the UU and our forums...and the ukulele....

Glad you liked it folks!! More to come soon I hope!!

Thanks for the YouTube performance and tutorial!

I can hear it now, a whole bunch of ukers doing 12th Street Rag!!!

Keep uke'in',

In keeping with the Holidays, here's a link to my Holiday MP3s, plus
one special (non-holiday) number:

Here's a 3-year-old video of me doing da rag. I do it a bit better now... or at least, differently, after literally hundreds more times playing it.

It was based some on Marcy Marxer's, some on Woodshed's barebones version and some from watching elebentyskillion other uke players do it on YouTube.

HH,

Sounds great... always the consummate performer.

How are you doing?

Still playing at Pike?

John

Thanks, John!

Haven't played at the Market for months. They're in the midst of "renovations" and have hosed things right into the FUBAR level. Luckily had a bequest this summer and could survive without it. Unluckily I'm pretty broke now. It goes around.
