Ukulele chamber pop from Japan? I don't know... just watch it.

These clips aren't from me. They're from the ukulelegrace channel on youtube, which is, I think, a ukulele ministry service that happens regularly in Japan. I know about it because my uke buds Max and Mr. Yoshimura have played in it before. These videos, however, are from Daisy Dobuyuki and they blew me away. The combination of uke, cello and violin (and synth in the 2nd video) sounds really interesting and I love the merging of classical and pop/ballad styles.

Hi gioconbrio, thank you for encouraging that I, "just watch it". The man with the uke is incredible! His playing and singing, totally awesome, I love his sense of humor too. This is more proof that the uke fits in musically anywhere. Very enjoyable!
