Hey guys.. I'm considering getting a new acoustic-electric uke (preferably tenor) and I thought this was the best place to ask.. what is the most decent affordable one you can think of??
I just got a Kala CE-BK from MGM. It's a black concert uke with an active pickup and it only costs about $160. I think it sounds great and I have no complaints about it. I would recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a low cost, cool looking and sounding uke.
I'd like to get the best quality uke possible for.. maybe 200ish? Give or take a little. If it's really really worth it I might be tempted to spend just a tiny bit more.. like for something solid wood? That would be sweet. That's why I was wondering if something like.. a solid wood tenor uke with a pickup that I bought separately would be better.. I don't know.. what do you guys think?
Also I'm going to have to look at that Kala that Woodstock mentioned!
