I've got a Tiki King soprano that is currently strung with D'Addario J65 strings. I play in 'C' tuning usually, and they were meant for 'D' but it's all the local shop had. I have them tuned to 'C' now, but they feel sort of slack or loose or something.
Suggestions? What do you all like on your Fleas? What makes 'em sing?

:)

I like Aquilas on my concert Flea. I've also used the new Martin fluorocarbons and these were nice too. Both were better than the stock black Hilo strings it came with.

Aquilas are my choice on both my fluke and flea! Wouldn't string them with anything else. I prefer Worth clear and/or brown on all of my other ukes.

Ray

Fremont Blacklines made both of my Fleas (Concert, and Soprano) come to life. Some of the best strings I've used. Way better than the standard strings!

MGM recommended Fremont Blacklines. I had never heard of them until just a few moments ago!
