ORCA Strings?

I've seen them, but what do they sound like?[/QUOT

They sound really good IMHO. Bell like on many instruments, well they are fluorocarbons.
I do carry this brand.

What he said! I bought a couple of sets from UkeRepublic & they do sound really sweet. The are substantially thinner than Aquila's so it took some gettting used to the feel, but they do really ring.

I bought a set for my tenor, put them on last night.
I am happy with the sound, but they are stretching like crazy.
It was a battle putting them on because they were just barely long enough.
I checked the package and they say tenor, but they are way too short for me.
I'll be looking for another brand next time, probably go back to blacklines.

I am using the mediums on my Gretsch, they sound and feel great.

I realized the length issue was because I was putting them on my resonator where the strings ties well below the cone/saddle.
I gave the low g's (unwound g) a try on my KoAloha, they are still stretching, but they are sounding great.
I moved the first set from my reso to a fluke, that's when I discovered the length issue, they are sounding really great on the fluke.

To me they sound a lot like the Fremont Blacklines. Not sure I could tell the difference. Both sound great though!
