arrived today!

I have never played a Gretsch before, and I bought it based on Chuck Faynes high regard for them.

Well..

IT'S SPECTACULAR. Bright, ringy, mahogany, yum yum yum! If you are looking for a vintage and can't afford a Martin--this is a GREAT choice!

Cool - I'm a fan of Gretsch instruments - looks like I may be on the hunt for one myself someday!

What a beautiful uke! So glad you got it. I look forward to a full review!

Seems like everyone wants to compare other uke's to Martin. A Gretsch is a Gretsch, a Favilla is a Favilla, and a Martin is a Martin!

Enjoy that beautiful ukulele!

GREAT point! They all have their own unique thing. I wouldn't compare my children, so why my ukes? So here's to my

Martin being a Martin; my
Gibson being a Gibson; and now my
Gretsch being a Gretsch!

It is a beaut! Congratulations, rem

Nice vintage uke. I'd really enjoy hearing you play something on it.

I ALMOST got one of those on eBay last year. It went for under $100, but just over what I could bid at the time. I'd still like one someday, as well as a Gibson.
