View Full Version : My New Bean

I had Aaron build me a tenor Bean Sprout and it should go out in the mail tomorrow...I can't wait. I opted for the headstock inlay, goat skin head, geared banjo tuners, and pickup system.

Here are some shots of it while awaiting the arrival of the pickup to install.

Very cool! Sound bites when you get!

It is a thing of beauty...some day I will have one, for now, just green with envy.
Since you own one, I figure you would know the nut width? The one on my May Bell is 1 1/16th, which can make Motorhead tunes a bit trying.

TCK, pretty sure I read that the Bean Sprouts are 1.5" nut widths. Perfect for me. If only I had $1,200.

Nice! I'm thinking of ordering a used Beansprout myself. I was waiting for the Mainlands but still no word on those. Enjoy your new uke and write us a review - thanks!
