tuner needed

Posted this in a different forum, but got no response, so i hope it's ok to try here, let me know if it's not.

I recently acquired a Gibson bari and one of the tuners has been replaced, wouldn't be so bad but it's a black sheep. anyone have an extra that might match or know where I might be able to find one? Also, the action is really high, what would be the optimum string height? I'm mostly still a strummer.

Those antique tuners are hard to come by, I suggest you place wanted ads in the forums, craigslist, and contact the big online uke stores...Elderly music is one..
It would be really hard to find just one, maybe find a period correct set and change them all.....contact gibson and see what they have or say...Good Luck and Happy Holidays!! MM Stan..
