I have a Kamaka 6 string Lili'U tenor, purchased new at Shade Tree Music about 10 years ago-ex. cond. (I had a 1/2 fret professionally added added to give it a 19th fret high note) w/ hscase. It is an awesome full sounding uke!
For trade for a Kamaka 4 string tenor, or G-string Koa.
I'm more of a finger picker than a strummer and the double strings, esp. the high G-get some in the way. When strummed-it's magical.
Prefer a trade in person if possible-I live in Anaheim, CA

How is your 6 set up. The double courses are the C and A strings. The G is a single . . .

I'll have shoot some pics., can't remember the label color but I think it is white (I'm at work).
Yes the G is single, C is double (hi & low), E single and A is double or same pitch.

I've decided to just remove the high c-that's what was messing me up and keep it-it's a wonderful instrument. The spacing is a little off but it works.
