Another Stromberg Voisinet for sale on eBay

There's another Stromberg Voisinet on eBay just now - it happens to be a rare one - the 8" pot model with the turned resonator made of two woods, and 12 tension brackets.

I've only seen this model once before.

Very tempting...and cheap right now.

Looks like the resonator was re-glued, but with SV turned resonators, this isn't uncommon and doesn't hurt the sound any, nor the resale if its been fixed cleanly.

There was another one earlier, ID'd as a Clarion, in much altered shape - a homemade resonator was made up and screwed into the back. It also had four plumber's washers worked into the tuners as spacers. Still, the important parts were all there...
