I know this is a little late, but I just read your message today. There are a few of us that play an open mike (uke only) at the Neutral Ground Coffeehouse Here in New Orleans at 5110 Danneel St. Every 2nd Monday of the month (that's this coming Monday). It's from 7-9, come check it out, and bring your uke.
