View Full Version : How does this guy do it?!

He plays with himself. I know how to clone myself, but I don't know how to sincronize it. Is there a trick to it?

I've seen others like this but this one is very clever. Mulit-personality?

Most mulit-trackers record a scratch track, then record all other tracks while listening to that. I don't see him wearing headphones though so my guess would be that in this case he recorded the video with the uke first, then watched it with the sound down or off while he recorded the second part. You'll notice when he's playing the uke he "queues" his other half by looking over that way after the break, etc.

Clever, but not magic. :)

Oh yes I love this! You need a video editer better than the crappy one built into windows. However, yes he has clearly done this before and knows how to direct it.
Check out "MysteryGuitarMan" he does this stuff all the time...Sometimes with Ukes. On his JP channel he shows you how he makes it.

It's possible that he's wearing small earbuds--his hair covers his ears. Doesn't appear so here, but sometimes it's recorded beforehand and lip synced/air guitared afterwards.

My guess is that he had an earbud in at least one ear and strung up the back of his shirt.

Cleverly done and very entertaining. Sub'd.

He made up the song himself, so he probably sung in his head the bits that he was missing out.
He doesnt hide his earbuds when he uses them.

I hate the YouTube "suggestions" feature - I followed that link and then spent twenty minutes watching PomplamooseMusic vids... LOL
