I love my Kiwaya. I went looking on the japanese website with "Famous" ukes and "luna" "k-wave" and I'm wondering why these ukes are not available in the U.S. .
I saw a black soprano I liked and I like the K-wave Les Paul looking uke.
I tried the "english" version and most of it was in Japanese and my japanese is very rusty. Does anyone know why these ukes are not available here ??

I know that a few of years ago the Les Paul and telecaster style was available here, but I don't know if they are any longer. You'll just have to save your pennies for

By all accounts, they are better instruments

I live in Northern Japan and the Famous Ukes are everywhere. I played a bunch last week and the least expensive soprano was really very nice. They seem to be all laminates.
