I wonder what the bamboo one sounds like. Should be pretty interesting.

Pretty tough to hear at a NAMM show but John Kitakis said the all rosewood model reminds him a koa with a bit more low end and the bamboo sounds great too with a sound all it's own.
I've been enjoying the bamboo sound from the Paulele . Pono has put out some fantastic ukuleles in 2010 and they seem to be doing the same for 2011. One change though, only the Pro classic series will come standard with that nice Ko'olau hard case.
