The Denver Uke Community isn't associated with UU; however, I've been twice and it is a good group - funloving, loose, casual.

They make newcomers feel welcome.

They will be helping much with the upcoming Denver Uke Fest early February and they got a snazzy new logo on T shirts.

They meet every third Saturday morning at Swallow Hill Music Community on Yale and South Broadway. 10:30 am. $3 for non Swallow Hill members.

They start out with 1 or 2 chord songs then progress in song strum complexity. They meet afterwards for lunch however, it'd be fun if there was a melody group meeting after the strumming session.

I understand there is an Arvada Uke meeting and possibly a Boulder Uke group as well so if people have that data, go ahead and add it here.

charge is $3 for that Saturday to support the community center they play in. Its the same cost as a Cappucino but better.

The Denver Group is here:

And you can find the Boulder group by searching the Denver group's messages. There's a phone number there for one of the leaders.
