could anyone help me with the kind of wood on this uke?

hello guys I have been wondering for a while for the kind of wood this uke is made of.

so here are the pics

I thought it was a mahogany first but seeing that the ohana 100g made me think, it has the same golden like sheen as my ukulele

Looks to be Khaya or African Mahogany. (Khaya senegalensis). Not a true mahogany which is Swietenia. Nevertheless, the look and sound is very similar. It's also being plantation grown all around the world in the tropical regions. So a very sustainable wood.

ok, I bought it from a couple who inherited it 41 years ago xD and apart from the head stock and sound hole ring it has no things that points me to a maker. at the moment I think its a Brüko.

but on the inside there is a marking with a part of a circle and a stripe that looks like its part of a kapital K

If its over 41yrs old its probably regular honduran mahogany (regular = awesome uke wood). Could be khaya but I think that's a more recent addition to the tonewood catalog.
Mahogany color can vary depending on the wood, grain, finish, sunlight exposure, etc. I've never used any that had that "mahogany" reddish brown color without some finishing help. Its very nice looking wood where ever its from
