intresting designs....second looks like a lute...if I had to pick between the two, I'd go with the first even though it might be lower volume..but looks better made, but then again, neck at this angle looks warped..

The 2nd one does look like a Lute, but I thought those were 8 strings or something like that. That one has 4, and small. Im not interested in them myself, but they are for sale, and so far pretty cheap. With shipping under $40 if anyone is interested in the links..

I also thought the neck on the 1st one looked warped, but not sure if it is an optical illusion due to the weird texture, or grain or what.. It might also be rough cut giving it that illusion.. Dunno.. kinda cool tho..
