If anyone's interested, this week's Time Magazine has a short article on the resurgence of the ukulele. It talks about pretty much the same things that every other article on the resurgence of the uke does: Jake, Youtube, the recession. But I figured I might as well post a heads-up here, in case anyone wanted to check it out.

Yes I just read it in myTime mag last night (page 64 in Arts section). Nice coverage and very positive. Gives a lot of nice Kudos to Jake. Interesting that Sam Ash stores in Manhattan said they were moving out ten a DAY over the holidays. Hohner / Lanikai Ukes said their sales went up 300% in 2010. Worth reading. Don't know if there is a link to the article or not. Nice quote from Jake at the end "If everyone played the ukulele, the world would be a better place". Right on Jake!!!! Lozark

I found it, but there's only a "teaser" online.

Perhaps someone with the magazine could scan it and post it here. Says it's only 583 words, so I think that would count as a fair use extract under copyright.
