Uke Minutes 20 - Pinky Mute

i been doing pinky mutes since i started, in all my strumming i always add a pinky mute... its like, a for of habit... but they make the song sound better, so its a good uke minutes

i seriously never tried to use my pinky for muting my strums. reason being is because back then when i tried, it hurt too much.
Having carpel tunnel didn't help. So i stopped trying.
But def is a technique that i would use if i could!!

so IMO

learn it, MASTER IT and perfect it! its really good to combine it with songs.

my pinky is short.. :\

I lose. haha but I try to pinky mute to practice.. but my pinky is stupid and wont to do it right maost of the time. >.>;;

I've tried it. I tend to push the 1st string down a little too far when muting causing an undesired note to ring out. I heard Aldrine do it accidentally 2:50 into the video, so I'm guessing I'm not the only one. It's a little frustrating. Plus, I'm not used to transitioning with it. I guess practice makes perfect, though.

This is a great Uke Minutes, and something I need a lot of practice in! I find the transitioning hard too and keeping up the rhythm at the same time. Well worth spending the time learning though.
