Hey,
I'm buying a mando soon, and would like to get a tutor book with it. But when I learned bass, for example, I found the book so boring and patronising, because I already knew about music. I didn't WANT to know what a crotchet is, I already knew.
I don't want the same thing to happen again... I want a book that teaches me technique, and chords, not how to read tabs or staves.
Does anyone know what I should go for?

(p.s. sorry if I sound a bit grumpy, didn't mean to moan!)
