I found a couple of nice walnut burls where I go wood scrounging. They are still wet and I have no idea when the trees were cut down. I would like to use this for rosettes and head plates. I have cut a few 1/8th inch slices and driven the moisture out of them with a hand iron. They look good and are dry. Do you think using them will be a problem?
