Hey all, i was in the City yesterday and ventured into East Village Music, on 3rd St just east of Bowery. They had a new mahogany Kala pocket uke for $169 with a gig bag. I thought that was a great deal. It's pretty quiet but it was also tuned to C. I think most tune these to D, E or F. They also had quite a few other ukes: Kala, Marin S-0, Mainland, Ko'olau, maybe Pono and at least one other pacrim brand.
Anyway, even with NYC sales tax, a good deal for someone out there.
