It never rains but it pours...

Every luthier I have ever known has always had a bad batch of lacquer and has had to refinish a whole bunch of instruments. Seems like it's my turn now... and boy is it hard work stripping off lacquer!

What is wrong with your batch? I have had some that never seems to cure properly. I always wondered if I mistakenly added too much retarder or thinner. Haven't had any problems lately, been using the new Seagrave/McFadden formula..
