UUU Help me out!

If I have played guitar for a year without lessons and am now picking up ukulele but know nothing about music theory and am OK at switching chords and picking fast on a guitar should I take UUU's Ukulele 101 or UUU's Music Theory 101??

Music theory is more for people who want to know the basics of the theories behind the music that you play. It's more knowledge and notes rather than learning techniques. There's still playing involved because we apply the theory that we learn, but it's mainly for knowledge.

Ukulele 101 is for beginners who have never picked up a uke before. You might be able to join 102 with no problems. You can always brush up on basics using uke minutes here on the website.

so music theory is like learning all the notes on the fret board and learning which notes make the chords so you know how to play a chord in a bunch of different ways?
