Bob Dylan taught Alan Ginsberg a third chord and this opened up a new world for him,
since he was then able to enter the world of blues. Whether or not entering the world
of blues is a wise thing is a debatable point, nevertheless if Mary-Anne had used three
chords instead of two, then "Chicken in a can" may have sounded like a spaced out Canned Heat.

Funky, trippin', & just plain wicked! I had to check to see if I had accidently dialed in to the Deadhead channel on Pandora.

Crank that A string up to A# and you have open tuning
and you can play the blues at the nut, V. VII fret by
playing a one finger bar across those frets.

Works for me... right!!!
