UK-2000 pre amp problems.

I purchesed a Ohana CK-35E online and had it shipped to me when I recieved it the pre amp wouldnt work so I removed it and made sure all the wires were connected. They were so I put it back in and it worked for a day, but the next day and now all I get is static I ruled out it being my cable or amp so it has to be the UK-2000 pre amp. So my question is does anyone know what the problem may be? Besides the pre amp problems the insturment plays perfect couldnt ask for a better ukulele.

Did you leave the chord plugged in when you were not playing? The chord being plugged into the uke switches on the battery on most onboard preamps and, if I remember right, that preamp uses one of those coin shaped watch batteries so I imagine maybe being left on overnight might drain the battery completely.

If you didn't leave it plugged in, then I'd say you're looking at the dreaded "intermittent" fault - the bane of electronics techs everywhere. I'd send it back for a replacement.
