In no particular order...

Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian - The Best of Petty Booka - Petty Booka
With My Little Ukulele In My Hand - 4 CD set - Various
Ukulele Ventures - U900
Peace Love Ukulele - Jake Shimabukuro

What uke stuff is in your current playlist/cd changer?

James Hill and Anne Davidson- True Love Don't Weep

Lyle Ritz- What About Uke?

Both are great albums. Both sure are innovators on the uke.

g'day Chap

I'll definitely 2nd your citing of the "With My Little Ukulele In My Hand" set. Brilliant isn't it!

some of mine would be:

* Square Pegs and Round Holes compilation
* anything by The Old Spice Boys or Lil' Rev
* Janet Klein's latest "Whoopee Hey Hey"
* George Formby 5CD box set
* Uni and her Ukulele's latest "best of" record
* Lyle Ritz's "How About Uke"...like AncientMatingCalls said, it's a great, great record and one I never tire of
* Cliff Edwards "Singin' in the Rain"

at the moment it's Uni and Her Ukulele getting the most playtime, but that's cause I only just got it!!! :)

Also James Hill and Anne Davison "True Love Don't Weep"

plus Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain "Precious Little"

Sophie Madeleine "The Rhythm You Started"; Leftover Cuties "Game Called Life" EP; (another vote for) "True Love Don't Weep" by James Hill and Anne Davidson; Boulder Acoustic Society "Punchline" (not your typical ukulele music); and a Cliff Edwards anthology called "Singin' In The Rain".

I notice there are a couple different versions of "Singin' in the Rain" out there...first, are any of them better than the others, and second, do they have any must-haves that aren't in the "With my Little Ukulele in my Hand" compilation?

Jake Shimabukuro-Gently Weeps and Peace, Love, Ukulele are both Great CD's!

Lil' Rev has some great CD's with lots of the old style ukulele standards.

Wow! I just listened to some clips from those John King albums. Damn that man was something. I am definitely going to get those soon.

Troy Fernandez' "Hawaiian Style Ukulele" and "The Best of George Formby".

I find I can only listen to Formby's CD once ina while, but I've got Troy's CD on a repeat loop.
