Mid-Build Question

Hello!

I was bending and had a few mishaps and minor cracks and long story short, I now have two pairs of sides, one pair that is thin, and one pair that is VERY thin. They both have minor crack issues and aren't too pretty, and I want to know which I should use.

the thinner one has less cracking issues, but it seems more flimsy.

How thin is thin? My last soprano has .070 thick sides.

If they're thin and cracked, you could consider laminating them.

laminating sounds like more work than I want to do... It's my first uke and all I want is a sound. It's certainly not a masterpiece.
