Baritone strings?

Hey everyone...love the UU!

Just ebayed my first baritone...50's Wabash...has original strings...what strings should I put on it? I have a set of decent classical guitar strings, non-wound... Should I just use top 4?

Depends, want to tune it dgbe or gcea. Aquila makes some nylgut strings for the baritone for gcea. Want to play it a'la guitar or a'la uke? I would personally get the aquilas in low g.

I strung mine with Martin bari strings and it sounds great. They sound so much better than the cheapos.
