This Mainland soprano was sold to me directly by Mainland Mike as a factory second. He said there were some superficial scratches in the wood which were then covered by stain. I guess if you look closely you can find them on the upper right bout, but they are all but invisible due to the complete surface staining.
Anyway, it has very good tone, and it is at a very reasonable price.
I am including a lightly padded gigbag.
