endpin jack problems

Hey UU, long time no post,

I've sadly run into an interesting problem. The endpin jack on my Kala tenor has come loose and I mean really loose, it can literally be pulled out. The nut and washer have come completely unsecured and are now sliding along the wires to the preamp.

My hands are definitely too big to fit in the soundhole to even attempt screwing it back on. Does anyone know of a way I can fix this?

Long time to hear...eh.....attach your jack to a long thin stick(dowel) and fish it through the soundhole and the hole for your jack....that should do it...Good Luck!!

Take it to a good guitar shop and have them do it.

They put a star washer on the inside for a good grip

Cost me $15 so it must be pretty easy with the right tools and experience.
