With Valentine's Day coming up, it's time to learn a love song, or write a new one. So--what are your favorite love songs?

And if you have written a new love song, or want to, post us the link?

I'll start: one of my favorites is IT HAD TO BE YOU. http://www.doctoruke.com/ithadtobeyou.pdf
:love::love:

I don't have a finished recording of the song, but I wrote a song called Lines. Call me a nerd, but yes, its a geometrically based love song xD the lyrics revolve around not wanting to be "Like parallel lines/for the rest of time/we're right beside each other, but we never do reach over and collide" etc :p I really should do an acoustic uke recording of it ^.^

Scuze the mess in the music room, we have a few projects in work at the moment. But, here is my Valentine contribution to music. Now, just need to work it out on the Uke..

have to turn the sound up. Kinda hard to hear it..

In February 2010, Sophie Madeleine posted a video inviting people to submit their versions of a song she had written, "You Are My Favourite," with instructions on how to play it and a link to downloadable chords and a backing track. Then she used people's submissions to make the official "You Are My Favourite" video.. I think her idea was to get as many people as possible to learn the song so they could sing it to their own favorites as a Valentine's Day gift, which still seems like a good idea. So here's a link to the sheet music, followed by the instruction video, in case you want to sing this song to your own favorite, followed by the official video.
