With Valentine's Day coming up, it's time to learn a love song, or write a new one. So--what are your favorite love songs?

And if you have written a new love song, or want to, post us the link?

I'll start: one of my favorites is IT HAD TO BE YOU. http://www.doctoruke.com/ithadtobeyou.pdf

I don't have a finished recording of the song, but I wrote a song called Lines. Call me a nerd, but yes, its a geometrically based love song xD the lyrics revolve around not wanting to be "Like parallel lines/for the rest of time/we're right beside each other, but we never do reach over and collide" etc :P I really should do an acoustic uke recording of it ^.^

I just recorded "Grow Old With You" from The Wedding Singer for my boyfriend. It's short but very cute!

Ever since I've watched "No Strings Attached," it has been: Plain White T's -- Rhythm of Love

In February 2010, Sophie Madeleine posted a video inviting people to submit their versions of a song she had written, "You Are My Favourite," with instructions on how to play it and a link to downloadable chords and a backing track. Then she used people's submissions to make the official "You Are My Favourite" video.. I think her idea was to get as many people as possible to learn the song so they could sing it to their own favorites as a Valentine's Day gift, which still seems like a good idea. So here's a link to the sheet music, followed by the instruction video, in case you want to sing this song to your own favorite, followed by the official video.
