I just pulled the trigger on a new flea!
Natural finish, no add ons, except the hard case.
I'm hoping it will get me over the bflat hurdle!
WooHoo!

Congratulations! I have a Natural Flea too... mine is a soprano. I don't have the hard case, but have thought about it from time to time. You'll love it. They are very cool ukes.

I went for the soprano too.
Now I gotta wait til it gets here.
Dang!

Woo-hoo! Those "natural" Fleas are good-lookin'. You're gonna love yours!

Congratulations. You made a good choice. Bb is still a pill though.

I think you made a great choice too. My flea would be one of the ukes I play most. So smooth and great punch and volume. And bomb-proof. You'll have a ball with it!!! :)

brilliant ukes - pleased for ya!

It's here!
First of all, the folks at Flea Market are wonderful.
I asked them if there was any way they could get the flea to me before I left for vacation this coming weekend.
(they say one to two weeks lead time to build the ukulele on their website)
Well, they came through in a big way.
I ordered it on 2/14, they shipped it on 2/16 and got it today, 2/22.
Mr. Flea is joining me on the plane to Hawaii!

First impressions:
It came with aquila strings! I was expectiong hilos.
It's much more resonant and louder than my Ibanez concert.
The Ibanez is brighter, the flea is deeper.
That 0 fret really helps. Although I am not over the bflat hump, I'm closer with the Flea.
No problems adjusting from concert to soprano neck.
I like the flat spot on the back of the neck. My thumb tends to slide off the shiny, rounder Ibanez neck.
Tuning is different, but not (in my opinion) more difficult.
Cool hard case - worth the money.
They included the denim gig bag too. It may come in handy, but I'm glad it's not my plane ride protection.

Conclusion:
Yippee skippee, hot dang, woohoo and badda bing!

Congratulations, thanks for the post and enjoy. One of these days, gotta get a flea.
