The human character, Jon, talks as if he's holding a guitar, but his instrument has four strings and four tuners. So, has an ukulele finally appeared in "Garfield?" If so, has the ukulele jumped the shark?

It could be an Uke, it could also be that the artist couldn't draw enough tuners in the size of the strip...or is it the TV show, because I'm pretty sure I've seen one on the TV cartoon/animation thing. Me and Darla play "spot the Ukulele" in her TV shows, they appear a lot in "Fireman Sam"

hehe yeah tricky. I know cartoon characters often have less fingers than us hume's. So it maybe just a way of getting around space like you say.

Wow Mark, that strip was in today's paper in the tiny town of Launceston in Tassie mate!!! I was gonna post the strip too. Didn't realise you'd already done so! It's a bari mate. Gotta be. :)
