Hey all,

I'm looking to add some percussion to my uke playing and wondered if anybody had made a good stomp box.
I know Manitoba Hal did but I'm not smart enough to add pickups or anything like that.

I'm thinking something like the 'Slap Drum' featured in the video

Anything would be helpful, plans, types of wood, hell send me yours if you want.

Thanks tons UU

A stompbox doesnt have to be to complex. Look at the Ellis Stomp Box..

To me it looks like a small wooden box with a fairly simple piezo element wired to a jack.
I can't help to think it's a simple thing to make myself.. :)
I got the tools and have the know how.
Guess I found my next project. :D

1 of these.

A small wooden box.

And then I'm good to go.
