I just picked up one of Tangi's double puka tenor ukulele on Ebay and would like to know if it was built in his shop in Hawaii or in his Vietnamese shop which is now closed. The stamp inside the neck has four lines: line 1: TR line2: 01 line 3: 2001 line 4: 102
The logo stamp is Tangi of Hawaii KOA.

I e-mailed Tangi but I guess he isn't checking his e-mail. I thought he was getting back on his feet. I wish him the best.

Any idea if he built this in his shop or was it made in Vietnam?

Similar stamping on neck block, (year) 2000 with a "TR" first line - Mahogany; same Tangi sound hole logo stamp. Any others done more research?

My Tangi has a woodburned stamp inside the soundhole that says "Tangi of Hawaii" "KOA". Inside, on the bottom of the neck, says "DAT 2007 19"

Is the DAT above the date? And all capitals - can you post a pic perhaps? Here is another I found... 'HD'. They must signify something. I did send a FB message to Mr Tully but no reply. It would be nice to work it out though! Sleuthers?
