I got a new ukulele, a cigar box from a member of the 1st German Ukulele Club, Hans Thüring.
Mine is the tenth ukulele he ever made.

There are some pictures:

I recorded one song so far, and I recorded the audio part twice at the same time, once with the mic of my Zoom H2, and once with the build-in pickup.
The song is "Seasons In The Sun": Acoustic version / Electric version

Very cool. It has a great sound, and the fact that the cigar box actually opens  Thanks for sharing.

That's one of the nicest cigar box uke's I've ever seen. In fact, if there was a kit for that style, I would buy it.

cigar box ukulele hard case

I just got a cigar box ukulele made by Tom in Traverse City, MI...His website is: http://cigarboxukes.com/ ...I restrung it with Aquilas and I am pretty pleased...Got the concert size with pick up...Now I have 2 questions: 1) where do I get a hard case for this baby? 2) I don;t own an amplifier, which one should I buy ? (need small one with good sound and not very expensive)

Thanks guys.
