I am very confused. I have never had a problem with this before, and now all of a sudden when I upload, the actual video is a small box inside a large black box. I haven't changed anything about my process (filming, rendering, etc.), so I am guessing it is something with YouTube.

Is anyone else having this problem, or know how to fix it? I just uploaded 2 videos I was very proud of, and now they look stupid and small and I am very bummed about it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

A while back YouTube switched to all HD (wide screen) format. Videos that are not HD are displayed in a frame. I've found that rendering to 720p X 30fps HD WMF format works well for YouTube uploads now. I haven't tried the 1080p 30fps format because that would be a much larger file and I'm on DSL (decent download speed, tortuously slow upload speed). Besides, I figure that YouTube is going to downsample it anyway because they certainly aren't displaying 1080p!
