Okay, you probably know I got this
21236

yesterday.

I wanted to learn some chord soloing, and something that says HAWAII, so why not ALOHA OE?

Anyway, I have a long way to go. But some of you have asked for a sound test, so here it is. Again, very rough. The strings are Freemont Blackline Hards. I like them, but am still getting used to how hard to fret them.

Enjoy.

Nice! Is it your own arrangement?

Well, some of it. The basic chord solo is from the MEL BAY Ukulele Chord Solos in C Tuning by Neil Griffin. The arpeggios on the other track are mine. Book is this:

It sounds very sweet Thom. One of my favorite Hawaiian songs.

I always want to learn a new impressive arrangement when I do a sound sample, but if I did, I probably would never get one posted lol.

Hey thanks! I just discovered that I actually have that book. Heck of a lot easier than the John King version I was struggling with :)

So get busy, cause I want to hear that Kamaka concert version, because I want to hear what a concert sounds like so I can add it to my UAS wishlist!
