I just picked up a solid koa 6 string Tangi that was made in '04. So far I'm liking it, but I gotta change the strings. Just wanted to get some feedback on it, since the last uke I had was some unknown mahogany "Lahaina" brand that I rockstar'd in a fit of rage. The Tangi has a couple of cosmetic blemishes, but nothing that effects the sound quality.

Wow, that's a nice uke you have there. I hope you don't rockstar that one!

A local player took a uke-buying trip to Hawaii some time ago and fell in love with a Tangi concert. I've only heard it in pub conditions, but it's a keeper. Enjoy!

Thanks guys for the feedback! I've been busy jammin out on it lately, cause I'm sending it to my bro-in-law out in Oregon. It should help 'em out when he's missing the islands. Good thing I found this awesome site cause I'm gonna need another soon and maybe I'll be able to pick one up from the for sale section.
