This is a song written in 1958 by Lee Hays and Pete Seeger, great friends and co-members of The Weavers.

Long story behind it, but suffice to say it aint really a blues song. But you know the ol' expression "for love or money"...it's kind of about that. In the card game of life it's love that trumps money everytime. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by to have a look!
