And I need it like a hole in the head really.
I have an upright and a slab.
Havnt really played bass in a group in 2-3 yrs to speak of. I do use the upright in my acoustic duo for a set, & this would be much easier.
Id want a smaller but nice amp to pair with it.
My old SWR WM12 would work but is kinda heavy.

I have a Roland AC60 acoustic amp on layway, w/about $150 bucks to go on it next payday. Plan to use it for guitar, voice & uke.

I've just about talked myself into saving up for a uBass.

You guys that have one, what amp do you use? Think a 8" or 10" practice amp, 30 to 50 watts, would do it justice in a small acoustic setting?

I have the Fender Rumble 30 and it sounds great. I use it with my Ubass in our family uke group and I'm never hurting for loudness. I even use it with my bass guitar at church and it does fine. My mother in law has the fender rumble 15 and it's pretty good too just not as loud.

I know exactly what you mean!
I've been craving for a ubass bad.

But I ended up opting for an Ashbory bass.
It's smaller/cooler looking and a lot more affordable. I don't think I'll mind the fretlessness.
Hopefully it arrives soon!
