Famous last words. :)

That is a sweet uke. Wish I could justify but I'm still in the dog house for bringing home a Michael Kelly Houglass Limited from the pawn shop last week!

Eugene, I bet you don't have a TD tenor yet. Better get it before it goes! BTW: How are you liking that Loprinzi soprano?

You need that TD tenor! I bet you don't have one! BTW: How do you like that new Loprinzi soprano?

Lol, I already have this one AND the other steel string Risa...

but it's still tempting.

Great uke, hope it finds a good home.
And I can certainly understand how selling it would feel regretful.
I know I would regret it if I ever sold mine - I'd have to have a VERY good reason.

hey Rick. mate, I do like that TD tenor, a lot. It's really pretty and I bet it plays like a dream. The thing is I just bought one of those mya moe black stripe tenors a week or so back so I've put myself out of the running for the moment. But whoever buys this uke is in a for a treat, no doubt.

As for the LoPrinzi soprano, it's amazing. So beautiful and smooth to play too. Hope too that the custom concert works out for you Rick in terms of the sound. It sure is a smooth player but I'd be interested to hear what strings suit it the best and especially look forward to some pics once the top is refinished.

Cheers mate!

I spent some time with it this morning, the Aqillas don't do much for it, but it plays like a Loprinzi. Worth Clears on the way. Actually feels small for a concert, might be my imagination but it feels smaller than the mahogany Loprinzi concert I just sold. The TD does play nice, a real beauty too, only reason I'd let it go is a William King with my name on it. I won't be too upset if it didn't sell.

I think I hijacked my own thread, Risa is still available, I'm surprised no one has expressed any interest in this.

Several folks have informed me that a fellow in England is selling this uke on ebay for $750.00 and willing to ship to the US. I checked it out, his ukes are all sopranos, this one is a tenor.

What is the highest offer you have received so far? Can you put a price on it? I might be interested as I have just sold 2 other ukuleles and have the cash. My biggest concern is how well the wife would take it considering I did also just buy "The Flying Owl" from Eugene...!!!

By the way, it is an awesome ukulele...!!!

Boy, it is in mint condition, looks new, spent over 820.00 + shipping. When I posted this I was trying to raise some cash to buy a William King tenor. I managed to sell enough to buy the King, so I'm less anxious to sell now. (BTW: the King is spectacular) However, I really should try to pay down my credit card, so any offer north 700.00 will get my attention, I was hoping for around 750.00. Not really looking for trades but ...?

I am amazed no one has snatched this up, really is the coolest uke out there and unobtainable! If my funds were available it would be sitting in my music room. Good luck, maybe you'll come to your senses and hang on to it. The one I played at Naam was so sweet!

as a reference point, i snatched up probably the last one from ukesurfer in february. all told, including shipping, it cost me $780, and a nite on the couch(wife doesn't understand why i need to have multiple ukes when i can only play one at a time). i had too many beers at hockey, came home, and hit 'buy'. took 3 weeks to get to idaho from germany. came with a gig bag. photos don't do it justice - stunning to look at. if you have a nice amp, or say a friend with a nice hand wired vox valvetronix, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to put down. the purists may shun you, let's just see them play one and see if they can put it down. just so so much fun. my 2 cents. jc

The fret wires are slightly bigger and rounded, much like a GIbson Les Paul, makes it very comfortable to fret, low action.
