The ocarina is a wind instrument, kinda like the "ukulele" of the wind instrument world in that it's small, portable, cute and very versatile, but not many people know about it compared to the more mainstream instruments. The particular one I'm playing in this vid is a one-of-a-kind that a friend personally made for me (they're generally handmade out of ceramic). But there are some excellent commercially available ones. A good site to check out is www.songbirdocarina.com ("Focalink" ocarinas are great).

The electric uke is a Risa steel-string electric with single coil pickups.
