Ok so a couple of weeks ago I picked up a Kala KA-S Soprano and like it alot, So I turned my starter Johnson Soprano in to my car strummer but the tempature changes (98 daytime 65 night) are killin my tuning.
It has peg type tuners and they are tight when its hot but slip when it cools down and I am afraid I will end up breaking them from tightening the screws all the time!!! I want geared tuners for the one in the car.
Right now I don't want to spend the $$$ on a solid wood to replace my KA-S and don't think I should with the LOW humidity here in Denver.
So I am thinking of getting another KA-S but think I cant decide if I should get the cheeper version or even a Makala.
This one will become my car strummer (need something to do at those red lights).
I guess this excuse is as good as any to get a new Ukulele.
Any Ideas?????
