I'm having the hardest time figuring out that riff that goes throughout the song...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Here's what I came up with. Now it doesn't match his picking note for note, but I think the theme comes through. If you string up with a low G, you will have to look elsewhere as my attempt is done with a high g.
