Mya-Moe has this nifty uke-tracker where they post the build progress of their ukes, and mine starts today!

I know I will be obsessively hitting this link every day for the next month and a half. :P

It's cool that you can not only check on the status but also see the pieces of wood that are being used. Very pretty grain. It should be a beautiful ukulele.

Hey, mine is #423 so I guess it should be starting soon! This Mya-Moe uke tracker is pretty cool.

I'm doing the #512 happy dance. :)

It'll be a while so I'll kick back and enjoy stalking everyone else's ukes in the shoptracker until then.

How fun to watch the daily progress. When my ukulele was made I basicccccally wore out my carpet waiting for my weekly update. One week I didn't get it on time and went nuts. Enjoy. Pics when it's done, please.

03-29-2011, 05:48 PM
Not done yet, but far enough along that I have to share a pic. :)

You are gonna be the loudest guy at CHUG with a resonator.. No hiding in the weeds any more Dave.. ;)

03-29-2011, 09:03 PM
That's awesome! Congratulations man, it's going to be a great uke. I would love to have a mya-moe spruce top / koa back and sides resonator. Maybe when I get off my butt and get a job :P

03-30-2011, 11:06 AM
I've been watching this one on twitter its lovely they regularly post the pics on their twitter account

04-03-2011, 07:10 AM
Is it wrong that I'm feeling bad about having them cut that big hole for the resonator? :P

04-19-2011, 02:54 PM
It's done! It's dooooone! Wooo!

Now, just the wait on shipping. Oh, the suspense!

Looks great! Congrats on the new custom uke!!!
I got mine in Myrtle too, but not with the higher grade grain pattern. I had rope binding to jazz it up a bit.
Char and Gordon do beautiful work.
